This is the Night - Clay Aiken |

*pokes* I haven't used this journal since I got my nice, new one. I can't deny the fact that I really miss this journal. It makes me sad that I had to abandon my use of it. *sighs*
Well, frell it. I'm going to start using this one again for just random stuff, because I feel like it.
So anyways, while I was gone this journal celebrated its TWO YEAR ANIVERSARY! Boo yeah. Go crow_hunter! Right.
Anyways. I have got to say that Mini Stoned Wheat Thins are the coolest snack crackers I've ever had the delight of tasting. Especially the Cheese Medley ones. *yum*
Anyways, I have this odd wish to write something. Anything! Whether it be poem, short story, novel, fan fiction... I just need to write! It's been bugging me for months and everytime I start, I can't seem to finish.
The freakiest bit is how my room looks. For these past months I've been using those yellow sticky note things and have been jotting ideas onto them and placing them places in my room. First it started on my mirror frame, then onto my window sills and it has now consumed three quarters of my wallspace.
And my room is rather large too.
I think I may be going insane. Why me?

I think I'm going stir-crazy! I really need to buy an FTP program! If I don't I think I may die from the lack of being able to create web-sites! I'm dying to do SOMETHING! *sighs* I guess I'll have to get in touch with my brother, so that I might be able to buy the one that I want.
So I went to see The Matrix: Reloaded. Wow... that sucked. Big time.
I don't think I have to say anything else about it.
So, I'v been watching all these really odd films lately. Snatch, Trainspotting, etc. All very enjoyable films, but very... odd. Er... yeah.

Wow, I really don't use this journal anymore. *sighs* How depressing.
Yeah, well, nothing has been happening really. Umm... Well... Jeff managed to kill himself on Friday... And... Umm... Iv managed to memorize nearly all of the lyrics on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack (even though I don't own it).
I realized how much I still don't like Susie again today. She's so... pushy. It bothers me a lot. I mean sometimes she can be really cool, but others... well... yeah.
Ooh! And I finally reached the second octive on the fife today! Yay! Now to start memorizing the music! Wahoo...

I don't know when it happened. It just seems to be something that has crept up on me out of the blue, and I don't think I like it much. Sure, I'v had my obsessions within the past year, Arvid, Andy, etc. But no true crushes. I was rather much enjoying laughing at all of my hormonal friends acting like idiots over each other.
I'm mean that way.
Anyways, I was happy being single and not looking. And then something happened on the trip to Montreal. I don't know what... it just sort of happened and I realized that I liked him. A lot. *sighs* I don't know what I'm going to do... I suppose it will be like all of my other crushes in which I will probably just keep it squished within me and not say a word about it until it passes... but this one feels different from the others.
Unfortunately he likes someone else. As most all of my crushes have. How disappointing. Whatever, I'll deal with the squicked feeling I have inside around him. I'll deal with the fact that I want to just hug him...so badly.
I'll deal.
I'll deal.

Ah, it's been a good day today. Woke up, did some reading and then off mum and I were to the beach to take some photographs for my science project! And then, after we dropped off the film, we went to the Eastham Library!
Wow, I love that library! It's sooo much better than the Orleans Library could ever be. Plus they had all of these awsome movies, my mum rented Almost Famous, and I rented The Pink Panther and Momento. Also, the book selection is marvelous! =D I'm so happy. So now me and my spiffy new card are ready to go!
Also, there was the really cool guy wearing a Ramones shirt at the Library getting a library card at the same time as us. He just sat there chatting to me about the movies I was getting and how he liked Almost Famous yadi yadi da. =) Very happy fellow.

::yawn:: I'm still sick, but I'll probably be in school tomorrow just for the fact that I do not wish to stay after from now until eternity to make up all of my missed work.
Yeah so the weekly VHS issss Moulin Rouge: Special Edition.
What's a weekly VHS you wonder? Why it is something my mum and I have been doing for over two months now. Every week when we go shopping we buy one VHS, for my parents like VHS more than DVD (plus we aren't rich enough to rebuild our entire video library of VHS into DVD). It's quite enjoyable. =D
Yeah, so, anyways, Iv decided that I miss my Paid Account and will probably end up re-buying it very soon. Unfortunately I will have to be descreet about it for my mum just finished paying a lot of moula in taxes... but Im sure she wont care like always.
Did you know that I own the original release of Scooby-Doo meets Batman and Robin? It's kind of funny...

Yeah, so Iv been reading a lot lately, and yesterday night after I finished watching Kate and Leopold (a movie I now OWN along with X-Men, two Hugh Jackmen movies bought in one night, whoopie!) and finished this lengthy discussion with my father about Quantum Physics, Dad gave me this book to read. It's like an unofficial sequel to The Time Machine By HG Wells. Iv only read about 100 of the over 500 pages, but so far it's VERY interesting. It talks about an outlook on time that I had never truly contemplated before.
Curiously I stop to wonder whether High School science ever takes a stop at Quantum Physics... I certainly hope so!
Considering the fact that I am not the brightest person out of my friends (considering that their grades are oh-so-much higher than mine), I felt oddly superior to them after reading this book. These tendancies are becoming more and more frequent as I think about what sort of things I have in common with my friends. I could never actually see myself talking to them about Science Fiction ideas, or time and space. I cannot even see myself talking to them (in an intelligent manner without the groans of how awful a book they're being FORCED to read is) about literature. I would even gladly give away all of my savings (approximately 800 dollars, not much I know, but hey, I dont exactly have a job!) to have a lengthy conversation on statistics or Algebra! That is how incredibly desperate I am! I have this odd thirst for knowledge that has been consuming me as of late.
For example, I read over 500 pages on an indepth view of Jack the Ripper and a psychiatric view into the killer's mind! For fun!
But my great problem is that I want to discuss what I have read with someone who is equally knowledgable in the subject. I want to hear different points of view! I want to debate about their thoughts that happen to conflict with mine!
I want to stop being so bored!
But I really dont know what to do. It appears as though nothing will ever come of this, and I will continue to be seen as a sarcastic prat who is slightly "out-there" to everyone. Why dont I ever seem intelligent around others? Because I don't feel like wasting my time on people who will give me no response! Perhaps this is why I am always on the internet so much. I can talk to anyone, and find people who are incredibly similar to me, or incredibly different. People who actually have knowledge in the subject matters that I am seeking to converse about!
Gods I love the net.
I really am glad that there is a place where I can communicate with other people who are not JUST from Cape Cod. For I have come to find that Cape Codders are rather boring creatures, or perhaps, teenagers are? All around the world they are the same?
Then why am I different?

Hello all, this is Rose reporting from the New House! Yee Haw! I'm now on cable inernet and it's so wonderful... I can't even describe it! Unfortunately, I'm using my mother's lap-top so it's not as great as it could be, but it's still pretty cool.
Thomas (my computer), Theodora (my printer) and Hugh (my scanner) will be moving up here soon!
So, my parents have informed me that in a weeks time we will be attempting to get an occupancy permit! That means we can start to move in! Cool huh? It only took us nearly four years to get the house done, but it's absolutely wonderful! We've much leather furniture, and my bedroom is to die for. I sort of had it done in an elvish fashion. The furniture is a set called the Elvis Collection, and is like a dark cherry or some other hardwood with these silver-metal handles and stuff. Very curvy, and slightly fifty-ish, but in a good way. And my curtains are a nice, light forest green, the curtain bar thingy has leaves at the end and when we finally get to painting the room it shall be this nice light green that I picked out earlier today.
I love it.
I'm also intending to later, after I'm finished moving and am settles down, to paint some nice leaf stencils surrounding the windows and doorways etc.
In my bathroom Im intending to go with more of a water theme than a forest theme... This is mainly because the tiles are a darker blue-green, and the fact that it's a bathroom... lots of water and such. So anyways, after we've moved in I'm intending to paint it a light blue-green, for there's only one window so I don't want it to get TOO dark in there! And then follow suit with some stencil designs of swirling ribbons or something along those lines along the mirror and windows to sort of show the flowing of the bathroom.
Got to go. Bye.
